Asheville's Downtown Independence Day Celebration:

  • Head to downtown Asheville to witness the city come alive with the spirit of Independence Day. Enjoy a day full of festivities, including live music, local food vendors, arts and crafts, and interactive activities for the whole family - don’t miss the Ultimate Air Dogs at 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm! There will be live music on the Pack Square Stage from 5-9, and the highlight of the day is the spectacular fireworks display that lights up the night sky over Pack Square Park. Grab a spot on the lawn early, bring a blanket, and get ready to be amazed.

Hendersonville's Independence Day Parade:

  • Kickstart your July 4th celebrations by attending Hendersonville's vibrant Independence Day Parade. This beloved tradition showcases the community's patriotic spirit, featuring marching bands, floats, classic cars, dance troupes, and local organizations. Stake out your spot along the parade route early - the parade starts at 10:30 - and don't forget to bring your camera to capture the colorful spectacle.

Pendergrast Family Patriotic Pops: Brevard Music Center Festival:

  • If you're a music enthusiast, don't miss the Pendergrast Family Patriotic Pops concert at the Brevard Music Center. This special event brings together the Brevard Symphonic Winds for traditional patriotic performance of beloved American compositions. Sit back, relax, and let the music transport you into a world of American pride and cultural heritage.

Fireworks Extravaganza at Lake Julian:

  • For a truly dazzling experience, head to Lake Julian in Arden for their annual Fireworks Extravaganza. Set against the backdrop of the serene lake, the fireworks illuminate the night sky in a breathtaking display of colors and patterns. Bring your loved ones, pack a picnic, and enjoy the show from the lakeside or find a cozy spot in one of the designated viewing areas. Take the shuttle from Estes Elementary! The celebration runs from 12pm-10pm.

Downtown Hendersonville Street Party:

  • Join the lively atmosphere of Hendersonville's Downtown Street Dance, an energetic celebration of community and freedom. Take to the streets as live bands perform a variety of music in front of the historic courthouse, making it impossible to resist the urge to dance. For the kiddos there will be inflatables, games, and activities. Food and beverage vendors will line up and later you can grab a spot for the fireworks beginning between 9-9:30. Look for the big red balloon Hendersonville releases so you can plan your viewing location later - if you see the balloon, you will be able to see the fireworks! This street party is sure to leave you with unforgettable memories.

Family Rodeo in Old Fort

  • There's nothing quite like a rodeo! Celebrate the 4th with professional Bull Riding, Barrel Racing, Cowboy Action, and Wild West entertainment for the whole family! Food trucks will also be on hand. Downtown Old Fort will have its annual firework show on Tuesday.
