Amy is a Black Mountain native, born and raised like her parents and grandparents before her. She graduated from Montreat College with a B.A. in English Literature before moving out of state in 2003.

She spent the next eighteen years living far North and in the deep South. She met lots of great people, but never found a place as beautiful as Western North Carolina. The mountain views, changing seasons, and abundant plants and wildlife are what make these mountains special to her. Amy [...]

Amy is a Black Mountain native, born and raised like her parents and grandparents before her. She graduated from Montreat College with a B.A. in English Literature before moving out of state in 2003.

She spent the next eighteen years living far North and in the deep South. She met lots of great people, but never found a place as beautiful as Western North Carolina. The mountain views, changing seasons, and abundant plants and wildlife are what make these mountains special to her. Amy finally made the move back home in 2021 and settled just outside of Brevard. 

In her free time, Amy likes to hike the 'Land of the Waterfalls' in Transylvania County, and check out all the local shops with her family. She also loves to explore new cities and places, but her real love is those relaxing, do-nothing vacations.

Amy is happy to be back, and excited to help others find a place to call home.
